Welcome, You are the Hit Counter   visitor to our site as of this date.

  The task at hand is to continue to focus on prevention, early intervention and suppression. Hysteria is as counter-proactive as denial. Without G.O.D. we can not solve this problem....

PROCLAMATION

Whereas hate violence and street gangs has become a daily occurrence and is increasing at epidemic rates across the nation; and

Whereas history has tragically taught us what happens when people, communities and law enforcement stand by and allow acts of violence and hatred to occur; and

Whereas children and victims often feel isolated, without hope, and helpless to do anything individually to end hate and gang violence; and

Whereas the members of the National Concerned Officers Organization On Gang Activities Inc. has bought communities, law enforcement and youth together, by standing together, were successful in opposing racist and anti-Semitism hate acts and gang activities committed against their neighbors; and

Whereas civic and religious organizations nationwide have used the National Concerned Officers approach as a resources to talk about whether their communities are vulnerable to a climate of gangs/hate and learn to prevent hate and gang violence activity if it comes to their community.

Therefore be it resolved that we, of the (organization/legislative body), in keeping with the principal of equal civil rights for all, unequivocally oppose any manifestation of hatred and prejudice towards any group or individual.

We hereby proclaim 1 June 1998 as National Concerned Officers Week and National Stand for Children week;

We resolve to stand together with all people of good faith across the country and support this national effort to push back the rising tide of hate and street gangs by activities you will undertake to promote a climate of hope and to join thousands of others to say with one voice,  Children First! No more Gangs and No more Bias.
