Profile
:
On
June 2, 2000, the National Alliance of Hate Crime Investigators and
District Attorneys Association (National
Alliance) was formed. We have chosen to focus on education,
communication and defusing community stress while aggressively
investigating bias and hate related crimes. Our Association is also
dedicated to assisting residents and youth in the awareness of
what a bias hate crime is, how to report it, and how to prevent it. With
the use of speakers, trainers and our dedicated Alliance we will also
provide brochure to schools, businesses, religious organizations,
grassroots organizations, social service agencies and other civic
organizations.
The
National Alliance will work closely with Communities, youth and young
teens and provided them with the opportunity to spend time with other
teenagers and programs from diverse racial, ethnic, social and cultural
backgrounds which will give them leadership and communication skills on
how to reduce prejudice bias and hate.
